Confusion with tag omegamin and omegamax

Developers,

Are the tag omegamin and omaegamax with respect to the fermi energy scale? Considering the fermi energy is 1eV, does 0megamax=0.5 and omegamin=-0.5 means above and below the fermi energy or we have just the energy levels of energy -0.5 to 0.5 eV which doesnot include the fermi energy 1eV.
